X (Twitter) doesn't give you a way to save a video from the app. ClipStash does it in your browser instead — paste the post link, download the video, no app needed.

Step 1 — Copy the post link
In the X app, tap the share icon on the post, then tap “Copy link.”
Step 2 — Open ClipStash
Go to clipstash.app/twitter in your browser.
Step 3 — Paste and download
Paste the link and tap Download. ClipStash returns the video (or GIF) in its original quality.
Where it saves
On iPhone, the file lands in your Files app — tap Share → Save Video to move it into your Camera Roll. On Android, it saves directly to your Downloads folder and shows in your Gallery.
Only public posts can be downloaded. Save content for personal use and credit the original poster before re-sharing.
