Saving a TikTok straight from the app usually stamps a spinning username watermark across the video. ClipStash pulls the original file without that overlay — here's how.
Step 1 — Copy the TikTok link
In the TikTok app, tap Share on the video, then “Copy link.”
Step 2 — Open ClipStash
Go to clipstash.app/tiktok in any browser.

Why does TikTok's own download have a watermark?
TikTok's built-in "Save video" button re-exports the clip with the creator's username watermark baked in, partly for attribution and partly to promote the app. ClipStash instead fetches the underlying source file directly, which doesn't carry that overlay.
On iPhone vs. Android
On iPhone, the file lands in your Files app — tap it, then Share → Save Video to move it into your Camera Roll. On Android, it saves straight to your Downloads folder and shows in your Gallery.
Only public TikToks can be downloaded. Save clips for personal use, and always credit the original creator before re-sharing.
